Career Opportunities

 

The driver’s primary responsibilities include customer service, maintenance, and inspection of company properties and the delivery of propane fuel to commercial accounts and residential homes. This is a DOT regulated position that complies with drug and alcohol policies and procedures. Driver must possess a commercial driver’s license with tanker and hazardous endorsements. Position entails pulling a delivery hose, some heavy lifting, and climbing in and out of a fuel truck. Person will be involved with customer service items such as direct customer contact, field maintenance, repairs and inspections, etc. Position requires good driving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in extreme weather environments. Must adhere to DOT regulations, state and local laws. Must comply with NFPA Pamphlets 54 and 58.

All candidates must have a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A preferred, Class B accepted) and HAZMAT X Endorsement.

The technician’s primary responsibilities include delivering, setting, and installing propane tanks and outside lines. Person will conduct system tests, purge cylinders and tanks, repair and maintain equipment, and perform final inspections consistent with company standards. Technician must maintain service related documentation and ensure company and government safety, policy, and regulations are met at all times. Candidate must be experienced with installation, maintenance, and repair of gas-fired equipment, appliances, and distribution systems. Person must possess adequate driving skills and ability to establish positive customer relationships. Additional duties include billing customers, accounting for inventory, operating service vehicle, etc.

The customer service representative’s primary responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries and scheduling fuel deliveries and service appointments. Candidate must have minimum 2 years experience working in a similar position or equivalent. Proficiency in all MS Office applications required. Person will be expected to maintain the highest level of ethical business operations and customer relations. Must be comfortable working within a team environment.

Sales representative’s primary responsibilities include developing new sales leads, closing sales agreements, and increasing company customer base year after year. Candidate is motivated to meet required sales goals and maintain positive, professional relationships with new and existing accounts. Sales representative will develop relationships with businesses and industry entities to cultivate new business prospects. Attending trade shows and actively participating in other related events may be required. Must possess some college education or equivalent experience, business to business sales experience, excellent communication skills, and basic understanding of gas-fired appliances, distribution systems, and general propane industry.

Dispatcher’s primary responsibility is ensuring all equipment, personnel, and infrastructure is scheduled for propane equipment installations and service appointments. Essential job functions are responding to customer inquiries, coordinating jobs with customers and technicians, identifying equipment and tank needs, and processing billing for new propane installs and accounts. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, customer service capabilities, and general knowledge of gas-fired appliances, equipment, and industry standards. Prior dispatch experience preferred.
